LEOVEGAS is launching casino application on Android for Swedish, Danish and Spanish customers
The operator of online-gambling LeoVegas at the eve has released its own online casino application in the Google PlayMarket and now is available for some target markets.
Became as the first operator which has gone thoroughly process, LeoVegas was able to deploy its own application to its players from Sweden, Denmark and Spain.
The Operator’s customers from these three countries can download the product to their Android devices and play wide variety casino’s games that are available in the ever-expanding LeoVegas’s lobby .
According to the words of this gaming and sports betting company, this step will open up countless new opportunities for Swedish, Danish and Spanish players, as Android devices occupy 45% of the smartphone operating system market in Sweden, 38% in Denmark and colossal 90% in Spain.
The launch of mobile applications is expected for further boost of the operator’s profitability. While land-based gambling had a nightmare year due to the closure which has been caused by the rapid spread of Covid-19, by this way online gaming activity increased.
LeoVegas by itself has reported about a 9% increase in annual revenues from 356 million euros in 2019 to 384.7 million euros next year. Gross profit jumped to 262.3 million euros compared to 237.1 million dollars in 2019 and EBITDA was 51.8 million compared to 49.5 million euros.
By commenting on the recent launch of its mobile application, the chief product and technology director of LeoVegas Matthias Vedar said that this step would re-position his company as an industry leader and make it easier for their players to “ get great mobile content” .
In January Google unexpectedly announced to app developers that it would be allowed to download in its PlayStore gamling games “ real money gambling apps, real money gambling advertisements and daily fantasy sports app” which will have to meet certain requirements.
Gambling Companies must be licensed by the regulatory authorities of countries in which they want to offer their applications. Operators are allowed now to distribute online casino games, sports betting, daily fantasy sports and lotteries to Android users in permitted countries.
